    Went to have dinner here on Saturday night with a group of 15. It was apparent immediately that the servers were in the weeds. We only received 6 of 15 drinks, and our food order was never taken in 35 minutes. The birthday girl asked our sever what was taking so long, Within minutes, the bartender came over an screamed at her, and told her that "you don't talk to my staff that way", and to "Get the f**k out of here now!" I have never seen such poor customer service. While our server tried her best, the restaurant was not prepared for the first long weekend of the season. We will definitely not be back.

  • Review of "1000 Islands Camping Resort" at Lansdowne

    The place has potential but is just not perfect yet. They have done some nice renovations and are working on more. They could keep more of an on site store for basics like milk and bread but that is minor. The theatre room was a nice escape from the 40deg humid ex we were having. I hope they succeed with what they have a vision of it being. The new pool area is nice. The old pool area could use some shaded areas. And as a suggestion to the owners I would recommend removing the trailer that you rent out. It is an eyesore and honestly a discouragement to people trying camping out. I talked with the renters and they were less than thrilled with renting a 22 year old trailer that is run down.
